Just looking over this little gallery of bullpup weapons tells you a few things. For one thing, the people who put these guns together are thinking outside the box a bit. These aren't standard rifle stocks wrapped around a different action; these are guns that have been re-thought and cleverly re-imagined, pretty much from the ground up. For another, these guns reflect today's world of close-quarter urban combat: compact, manueverable, powerful weapons for when pistols just won't do. Last but hardly least, it's clear just from this cursory set of images that the world of bullpup guns is going in a variety of directions, with interesting developments yet to come.
